I'm so, so, so happy for Amy Madigan and her Oscar last night. Ever since I saw Weapons in August 2025, Aunt Gladys has stayed with me, so much so that I made this illustration in December (as a gift for my newsletter subscribers).
For me, she's already an iconic film character: and not only do we not get those very often, they don't usually win Oscars.😉
